Early Childhood Opportunities
Toddler Care (crawlers – 2 ½ years)
We provide childcare for children who can crawl or walk but are not yet 2 ½ years old (30 mos.) Children play with toys, sing simple songs, have a snack and hear simple stories. This room is currently open at the 10:00 service only.

Pre-School Church (2 ½ years – 4 years)
We offer Pre-School Church for children 2 ½ – 4 years in the Pre-School Nursery on the Middle Level at 10:00. Preschoolers have time to play, make a craft, hear a story and have a snack. Children explore stories from the Spark! Storybook Bible which includes stories from the Revised Common Lectionary (the cycle of Bible passages that are used in the service for “grown-ups” each week).

Wednesday Night Childcare (crawlers – Kindergarten)
To provide parents of young children opportunities to attend to their own spiritual growth, we offer Wednesday Night Childcare for crawlers – Kindergarten. Children hear a Bible Story, make a craft or art project and play with other children.

Pre-K – Elementary Opportunities
Children’s Sunday School (4 years – Fifth Grade)
We have a fun structure for Sunday School. We engage in God’s truth through different learning styles. One week they may learn the story of David and Goliath through art, another week they may explore the science behind slingshots, another week they may do a storytelling exercise or acting. We believe that repetition and active engagement in the material is key to meaningful learning.

Pre-K and Kindergarten Children’s Church is a developmentally appropriate miniature edition of the worship service for young children. Children start in the sanctuary then join their teachers in the 4 &5 year old Room for praise and worship, stories, prayer, offering and crafts.

Brave and Bold Children’s Church (First – Fifth Grades)
We are God’s Kids, on a Mission. Won’t you join us? Come and listen! Brave and Bold! Jesus loves you! Brave and Bold! Jesus Saves You! Brave and Bold! Brave and Bold! Brave and Bold!
Children’s Church is a developmentally appropriate miniature edition of worship for Adults in the Sanctuary. We enter into worship and God’s story as we learn about our Lord, Savior and Hero Jesus Christ and strive to be Brave and Bold as his sidekicks. Children start in the sanctuary with their parents for praise and worship, then are dismissed to the Children’s Village for songs, prayers, offering, story and hands on learning activities. Each month children have an opportunity to join our superhero wall of fame for memorizing a superhero memory verse.

Glory Be’s (First – Fifth Grades)
A partnership between the worship ministry and the children’s ministry, The Glory Be’s (formerly Kidz Choir) perform musical plays and helps lead worship each month at the 10:00 Service.

Children’s Ministry Council
The Children’s Ministry Council is committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world through ministry to children and their families. Members understand and love children. The Council helps to establish policies for the administration of children’s ministry programs. The Council provides support and guidance to the directors of the programs with regard to planning events, curriculum decisions, submitting a budget, and maintaining a Christian environment for the programs.

Special Events
Children’s Ministry Sponsors special events throughout the year including: Trunk or Treat; Advent Festival; Sledding Parties; Overnights and Retreats.
Milestones
Milestones Ministries are one time workshops for children and their families to explore important aspects of life in the church. Milestones are age specific and topics include: Welcome to the Church (babies and infants); and Communion (Second Grade and older). Milestones are held on Saturday mornings throughout the year. Look for more milestones, including: Stewardship; Prayer; Baptism; and Bible in the coming months.
