“The Journey Toward An Undivided Life”

Saturdays: March 3rd, 10th, 17th, & 24th

9:00am – 10:30am

Referencing the teachings of Parker Palmer in his book, A Hidden Wholeness – The Journey Towards an Undivided Life, retreat facilitators, Rev. Cynthia Williams and Linda Austad will help to create a quiet, focused, and disciplined space—a circle of trust—in which the noise within us and around us can subside and we can begin to hear our own inner voice. In large group, small group, and solitary settings, we will explore the intersection of our personal and professional lives, making use of stories from our own journeys, and insights from poets, storytellers, and our Christian and other wisdom traditions.

Because of the high degree of trust involved in this group process, we ask that participants who enroll commit to attend each of the four sessions.

Welcome to Our Church – Babies, Toddlers and New Parents

The Early Childhood and New Parents Milestone is a gathering for parents of parents of infants and toddlers. Come and meet other parents who have children the age of your child. Learn about Children’s Ministry at Park Avenue United Methodist Church. And discover developmentally appropriate ways to nurture your baby’s relationship with God.

Who: Children 2 ½ and younger and their parents.

Men’s Retreat Deadline is Sunday, February 19th!

The 14th Annual Mens Retreat is March 2-4, carpools and the van will leave the church Friday evening, March 2, and return Sunday afternoon.

The Retreat is at Camp Koronis, which features fireplaces, gymnasium for basketball, dodge ball, volleyball, etc. foosball, table tennis, board games, chess, nature trails, music, and quiet space. Come and get to know your Brothers in Christ.

Scholarships are available, no one is turned away for lack of funds. Register at the hall table after the service.
